The classic Three Peaks Bushwalk in the Blue Mountains is sort of a marathon challenge, since the aim is to complete the whole of it in less than 48 hours. Think of Ashley Burke's observation, after finishing the Experience for the 12th time: "Its a long way".
Of course, if you have no ambition to become famous, take your time and enjoy these densely forested mountains with their cliffs and tablelands. The three Blue Mountains you conquer are Cloudmaker, Paralyser and Guouogang. Blue Mountains National Park is only 80 km from Sydney.
