The Chubu Region is right in the centre of the country. The pretty coastal region is called Hokuriku. The Japanese Alps are located in this region.

This Nature Trail offers a variety of hiking pleasures, both high mountain scenes and sea views as much of the trail runs along the coast of the Japanese Sea. Between 1995 and 2001 the trail was entirely renovated.
