110 km, 7 – 10 days, April – September

The Wet Tropics Great Walk is located in Girringun National Park. It is one of the longer hikes in Queensland. For a large part, the trail follows Herbert River and its many falls and rapids. The fascinating sandstone rocks come in all shapes, and form a beautiful contrast with the tropical rainforest. Highlight is the 268 m high Wallaman Falls at one of the trailheads.
